On 9.1.2015, the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (the ‘MFA’) submitted for publication a contract notice concerning the provision of reception and reintegration services for rejected asylum seekers from Denmark to Afghanistan, Iraq, and Somalia. In response to the contract notice, the MFA received only one application/expression of interest. Having advertised its intention to award an agreement for the services mentioned and thus having prospected the market, the MFA has decided to discontinue the restricted procedure and to proceed with negotiations with the sole applicant. These negotiations and any subsequent contract award will take place within the confines of the information provided in the contract notice.
